Our goal is for every child to be represented by a dues-paying member of the PTO. Membership options range between $7-$14 and we welcome parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors to join!
Dear Families,
On behalf of the PTO, we would like to welcome everyone back to school. You ask, “what is PTO?” PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, consisting of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all students at NKES. The PTO supports school staff, helps promote student self-esteem, and assists in efforts to solve school needs through two important ways.
WE RAISE MONEY! By holding fundraisers such as the Fun Run, Bingo for Books, Scholastic Book Fairs, etc., we are able to earn money to enhance the educational experience for all students at NKES. The PTO funds new educational materials and technology for the classrooms, educational assemblies, school beautification efforts, staff appreciation, and a multitude of other items that are needed around the school.
WE SHOW UP! The Holiday Shop, Valentine Grams, & Fall Festival, are all activities planned and staffed by PTO volunteers. These are memorable events for NKES students, and we need volunteers to help make them happen.

As you can see, we are a small and busy group. This is where YOU can help! We are seeking volunteers to help make this year an exciting and fun one with all students returning. The PTO is a team effort and we need lots of volunteers to help make these events run smoothly.
