Backpack Buddies Program
Below is information on the Backpack Buddies Program, their most needed items, ways to help, and information on how to sign up for the program if your family is in need.
With the help of others in the community and a local non-profit (My Sister's Hope), this program has expanded to serve all three elementary schools. Each week rolling backpacks are filled with shelf stable breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for families who need help over the weekends and school holidays. This program runs completely off of donations and grants. This year they are packing 78 bags each week serving over 180 children in our community, with new families joining the program weekly.
